How Much? New England Rain Totals September 29, 2023 (with highest NY total as well)

An extreme rainfall event centered over the New York City Metro area led to significant flash flooding and record rainfall in the city. A total of 8.65 inches fell at JFK Airport. The highest total from the Tri-State area was 9.06 inches in Valley Stream, New York (on Long Island)
