That was certainly not a bust. This storm did have a higher than usual chance of "busting" on snow thanks to a few factors (warm ocean and onshore flow, timing of when the low intensified), but the storm remained on track, and ended up over-performing in some areas. A heavy band of snow set up shop over northeastern Massachusetts and southeastern New Hampshire in the afternoon, highly inflating the final totals in those areas. Here are the numbers:
