Expected Hourly Snowfall Rate for Five Cities Across New England

The first impactful snowstorm of the season has arrived for southern and central New England. Total snowfall may get to the foot mark despite some factors working against the storm. This is really a one-dimensional storm with just steady snow. Rain and mixing will be light, winds will be gusty, but not overly strong and coastal flooding will be a non-factor. With that said, here are some charts showing forecast hourly snowfall rates for Boston, Worcester, Nashua, Burlington and Portland.
